Blooket Forgot Password: reset your account safely

The official reset flow

1. Open blooket.com/login.
2. Select Forgot Password under the form.
3. Enter the email tied to the account and submit.
4. Open the reset email and click the link. It expires in a short window, so do this promptly.
5. Choose a new password that meets Blooket's requirements (length and complexity).
6. Sign in with the new password to confirm.

When the reset email doesn't arrive

• Check spam, promotions, and updates folders. Reset emails sometimes land outside the inbox.
• Confirm the email address. A typo at signup will route the reset to a non-existent inbox.
• Allowlist no-reply@blooket.com. Some school email filters quarantine unknown senders.
• Wait five minutes before retrying — repeated requests can rate-limit the address.
• If still nothing, try the alternative sign-in method (Google) if your account supports it.

Changing your password proactively

You don't need to wait for a security incident. Open Profile → Account → Change Password from your Dashboard whenever you want. Doing this annually — and immediately after any shared-device use — is a good habit.

Choosing a strong password

• At least 12 characters with a mix of upper, lower, numbers, and a symbol.
• Unique to Blooket. Don't reuse your email or social media password.
• Store it in a password manager rather than a note on your desk.
• Avoid names, birthdays, and school names — these are easy to guess for someone in your class.

No access to the signup email?

If you've left a school district or lost access to a personal email, Blooket support can help — but you'll need to prove ownership. Contact them from a working email, include your Blooket username, approximate signup date, and any payment details if you've been on Plus. Expect a response within a few business days.
